About Us

More than 2 decades of experience

I’ve been practicing law in Michigan for more than 20 years. I’ve helped clients get what they need in nasty prolonged divorce battles. I’ve also spent a fair amount of my law practice working on amicable cases, preparing simple Wills and Powers of Attorney, handling real estate transactions and everything in between.

With more than two decades of practice to my name, I’m ready to start a new and exciting part of my practice. I enjoy helping people with their legal problems. I am a great negotiator. I am a problem-solver, a hand-holder, a compassionate counselor and a darn good attorney. I just don’t want to be chained to a desk – tied to traditional work days and hours. And I definitely enjoy the freedom to talk to clients whenever and wherever they need me.

I started out in labor law and civil rights law and quickly switched to family, divorce, real estate and estate planning when I moved to Michigan. I built a successful and thriving practice in Milford and I still take on full-service clients at Kathryn Wayne-Spindler & Associates. So don’t worry if what started out as a simple, amicable, DIY divorce turns into an epic, contentious War of the Roses. I can handle it. My staff can handle it. And we will help you through it.
